Medical Second Opinion:

Medical Second Opinion program in Anadolu Medical Center, allows you to have your case re-evaluated by an independent and objective point of view of Anadolu Medical Center experts, without traveling outside of your country.

The main purpose of this process is providing the healthiest treatment plan possible to the patients by securing the healthy communication of medical data belonging to the patients. Following your first contact with the International Services Coordinators, you will be asked to provide the necessary medical documents related to your health condition.

All documents must be either in English or Turkish.

You can communicate the related medical data by e-mail, fax or regular mail. And upon the completion of your folder, your information will be communicated to the related medical department(s). Anadolu Medical Center physicians will review your case.

The Medical Second Opinion comprehending the appropriate treatment plan and the approximative cost estimations will be given you within latest 2-3 days upon the receipt of your medical records. Please note that this process might take longer for complicated cases necessiting the review of more than one medical branch.

Medical reports Gather your most recent medical records and the information related to your medical history and the current clinical condition in English.

Radiology (required) - you can send either hard or soft copies of your radiological scannings to Anadolu Medical Center.

Pathology (optional) - patients can also communicate the slides or paraffin blocks for them to be reviewed. The analysis of slides and/or paraffin blocks require an additional charge.

Telemedicine (Physician to Physician Tele-Consultation)

Telemedicine program gives the opportunity to Anadolu Medical Center specialists to collaborate with consulting physicians from various countries, especially about complex patient cases using a high-tech video conferencing system.

Who can benefit from the Telemedicine Applications?

- Patients who have received their Medical Second Opinion in a written way and who would like a more detailed evaluation by following a face-to-face communication between the related physicians.

- Patients who have already received treatment in Anadolu Medical Center, for follow-up after their treatment.

- Patients who are requesting Telemedicine for the first time from Anadolu Medical Center should communicate their medical records and films prior to the telemedical session for Anadolu Medical Center physicians to review the case background in advance of the session.
