Anadolu Medical Center holds international conferences to keep track of recent developments in the world and contribute to the medical knowledge of Turkish healthcare professionals. Next one is ready to kick off: “Latest developments in Bone Marrow Transplantation”, 14th of the conference series organized by Anadolu Medical Center in collaboration its international affiliate Johns Hopkins Medicine. The conference will take place on November 2nd, 2011, Wednesday, at Anadolu Medical Center Efes Auditorium.

Zafer Gülbaş, M.D., Professor of Hematology, indicated that with its strong scientific content, the conference reveals the medical state Turkey attained in terms of bone marrow transplantation. He underlined that Anadolu Medical Center Bone Marrow Transplantation Clinic reached world standards in success rates, and they offer autologous, allogeneic and haploidentic transplants with highest quality medical care.
Cancer stem cell’ set the agenda
Among the lecturers is the fore coming hematology professor Richard J. Jones, M.D., the Director of Johns Hopkins Bone Marrow Transplantation Program, who is widely known with his bone marrow transplantation and cancer stem cell work. After his two speeches on “cancer stem cell” and “haploidentic bone marrow transplantation” that convey his deep knowledge and experiences, Richard J. Jones, M.D., will answer physicians’ questions.
