The Center of Bone Marrow (Stem Cell) Transplantation at the Anadolu Medical Center features an outpatient and inpatient clinic, HLA typing laboratory, hemapheresis laboratory, cryopreservation, and stem cell processing laboratory. Molecular level diagnostics are provided through flow cytometry and PCR, which allow for direct monitoring of treatment efficiency. Specialists analyze each patient’s molecular risk profile and design an individually tailored treatment schedule.
The Bone Marrow (Stem Cell) inpatient clinic accommodates 22 patients. Each room features an entry section separating the room from the corridor. It is designed and equipped to prevent introducing potential infections by members of the BMT staff. Thus, infection risks for patients are significantly decreased.
All of the spacious rooms are equipped with HEPA filters designed to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses, hence airborne infections. The entire ward is equipped with HEPA filters ensuring the safe movement of patients outside their rooms. Besides the comfortable orthopedic beds, each room features a personal music system, cable TV and Wi-Fi connection.
