Anadolu Medical Center has its quality certified through JCI Accreditation which is accepted as the golden standards in health services. "Golden" standard to the quality of Anadolu Sağlık Merkezi Anadolu Sağlık Merkezi was accredited once more by JCI (Joint Commission International) which is accepted as the golden standards in global health services.
Anadolu Medical Center focusing on providing world class health services in Turkey since 2005 with the vision of being the "Center of Health" has its quality once more certified by JCI accreditation on the issues of quality in health services and patient safety. Anadolu Medical Center which was granted the first time in 2007 the JCI accreditation determining the best applications in the fields of quality and patient safety and being accepted as golden standards in global health services, entered in the recertification process held in three years period and was accredited for the fourth time in the aftermath of the field visits and examinations fulfilled.
Dr. Hişam Alahdab, Anadolu Medical Center Deputy Medical Director responsible for Clinical Quality and Patient Safety, reported that JCI monitored the hospital for a week with three specialists experienced in the field said "We set the target of going beyond the better as of our establishment. In every audit it is so much pleasing to perceptibly see that we have progressed. We took the road with the principle of 'Quality is never a coincidence' and continue such quality journey of ours going towards the excellent believing that any member of the Anadolu Medical Center has active role. We set our focus on 'the human being', of our entire work. We offer world class health service to our patients as well. Such understanding shapes our service quality".
Dr. Alahdab narrating the JCI audit process said "Our point of view is not just getting prepared for the audit or demonstrating efforts only for the audit; rather accepting the standards determined by Joint Commission International as the minimum standards and keeping ourselves beyond such. We aim to code such values into our genes regardless of the audits".
Strategic Planning and Performance Development Manager Murat Sümer reporting that JCI officials audited the entire units of the Anadolu Medical Center and were impressed to see the safety culture being established in every part of the organization said "On the other hand another issue which attracted the attention of the officials was to see that each individual in the institution having values in common. They stated that they were especially impressed by people's speaking transparently, sincerely and in an uncensored manner at the utmost level. Such accomplishment stems from the integrity established in the foundations of entire units of the institutions from the Board of Directors to the field".
International level quality and reliability of Anadolu Medical Center being assessed through the criteria included under the headings of Patient Centered Standards and Health Institution Management Standards in 14 separate sections such as "International Patient Safety Goals, Access to Service and Sustainability of the Service, Rights of the Patient and Patient Relatives, Quality Amelioration and Patient Safety, Facilities Management and Security, Qualifications and Training of the Employees" was once more proved thanks to such accreditation.
