Temperature of everybody, including patients, patient relatives who enter our hospital and staff, is measured.
1. Measurement of temperature at the hospital entrance
Temperature of everybody, including patients, patient relatives who enter our hospital and staff, is measured. Temperature measurement is performed both by our nurses and the thermal camera located at the main entrance of the hospital, which can measure temperature of many people at the same time, and when a person with a high body temperature is detected, the operator is warned. Patients with Covid-19 symptoms are taken to a separate isolated department away from other patients, where they are evaluated by the pandemic team before their necessary workups and treatment are planned.
2. Mask and personal protective equipment are used
The use of masks plays a major role in preventing the spread of Covid-19 infection. Everyone who enters our hospital is given a mask and no one is allowed to walk around the hospital without a mask. In addition, it's ensured that all protective equipment required by our healthcare personnel is used.
3. Cleaning and hygiene rules are followed
In our hospital, all standards and hygiene rules stipulated by national and international authorities are followed. All parts of the hospital, primarily including offices, patient rooms, operating rooms and medical intervention rooms, toilets, hospital corridors, dining halls, waiting areas, are cleaned and disinfected regularly in order to remove all kinds of viruses and bacteria. In particular, examination rooms and operating rooms are cleaned and disinfected after each patient. In addition, door handles, elevators and pushbuttons that are open to common use are frequently cleaned and disinfected. The medical team often wash their hands and disinfect their hands with disinfectants also available for use by our visitors in many parts of our hospital.
4. Social distancing is cared about
In order to protect our patients, relatives and healthcare workers from infection, the waiting areas, elevators, cafeteria and counters in our hospital have been rearranged to comply with the social distancing. In terms of patient safety, visits for inpatients have been banned and only one person is allowed to accompany the patient.
