Robotic surgery simulation is at Anadolu Medical Center

Being a health reference center from the day of its foundation, Anadolu Medical Center continues to make a difference with its medical staff as well as with its technological infrastructure. Presenting the technological developments to its visitors as well, Anadolu Medical Center displayed the new “da Vinci Xi” robotic surgical system on 17-21 July at the hospital, where patients and visitors had the chance to experience the “da Vinci Xi” surgical system, the robotic surgery simulation. Visitors had the opportunity to sit on the surgeon console and move the robotic arms along with a three dimensional vision. Robotic surgery is used for a number of different procedures, especially in the field of urology, thoracic surgery, general surgery, gynecologic oncology and cardiovascular surgery.
