At the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Anadolu Medical Center, we treat surgically cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases in a range of patients from newborns to adults.

Highlights:

• At Anadolu Medical Center, no mortality occurred in isolated coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery in 2013. This has been the third year in uninterrupted succession in which Anadolu Cardiology Center achieved 0% mortality.
• 2008-2009 results:

At the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Anadolu Medical Center, we especially give importance to patient safety, patient-centered care, sustained management and service quality. We also maintain our leadership in this area. We publish STS adult, STS congenital database and EACTS congenital database at our Cardiology Center. At our Center, we accord importance to teamwork and always pursue excellence.

Cardiothoracic Surgery

With minimally invasive cardiac surgery, we aim to apply the least invasive surgery technique for a positive outcome. Minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, and endoscopic vein removal are also subjects that we are specialized in.

Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

We also perform cardiac surgeries of infants and children in our center. Our aim is to perform the first and the last surgery of a child so that he / she will not need any surgery any more.

Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology

There is a smooth cooperation between pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiac surgery thanks to the cooperative and multidisciplinary approach.

Fetal Program and Special Birth Unit

Comprehensive, multidisciplinary prenatal diagnosis and treatment with pediatric subspecialty consultation

Diagnosis, plan and surgical preparedness and appropriate level of care at birth ultimately lead to advanced outcomes.

Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Program

ECMO program is the largest and the most Active extracorporeal life support organization center (ELSO) in the country. At our center, we offer medical services to patients who are quite critical and who cannot be treated at other centers.

Interventional Cardiology

We offer comfortable and safe services to our patients without full-spectrum interventional treatments and catheterization laboratory.

Arrhythmia Center

Cardiovascular Imaging

Owing to cardiovascular imaging, we have the chance to view the heart better. Introduction of new methods to view the heart increase the quality of service.

The protective cardiology program is a multidisciplinary program consisting of doctors, nurses, dieticians and physical therapists.
