After graduating from Akdeniz University Medical School in 1997, Melda Özdamar, MD, was entitled to receive specialty training at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Medical School, Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology Department in 2000. In November, 2004 she became a specialist in microbiology and clinical microbiology. Committed to working with a focus on patient safety and learning new practices and techniques in her field of specialty, Özdamar, MD, is also married and has two kids.
Özdamar, MD, who started to work at Anadolu Medical Center in 2004, took active part in the establishment of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory and Transfusion Center. Özdamar, MD, who has been serving as clinical microbiology specialist since 2004, is serving as the director in charge of the Transfusion Center.
