International Patient Services
Being with your loved ones and family is an important part of speeding up your recovery. While it is of course important for your visitors to spend time with you, they are also expected to be considerate of the comfort and peace of other patients.
Patient rooms in our hospital are either single or double occupancy. In all of our rooms, patients can be accompanied by only one caregiver. In our single rooms, there is a bed available for the caregiver to stay. Caregivers are not allowed in intensive care units.
Rules to be followed by visitors and companions:
- Our hospital applies a patient-preferred flexible visiting policy for hospitalized patients. Unless otherwise stated by the medical team, patients may receive visitors 24/7. However, except in emergency situations, it is recommended that after 22:00, patients should be visited by no more than three people at the same time
-
Medical staff may limit the number of visitors when necessary.
-
Between 24:00 and 07:00, visitors must use only the Emergency Department entrance. The Oncology entrance is closed between 18:00 and 07:00. During other hours, entry is permitted through all entrances.
-
Children under the age of 12 are admitted for patient visits only when accompanied by an adult. During the visit, they are expected to remain under the supervision of the accompanying adult, and responsibility belongs to their families.
-
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the hospital. Visitors who wish to smoke are directed to the designated area outside the building.
